AJAA offers recreational and instructional leagues in girls' t-ball and slow/fast pitch softball intended to:

·   Considering all players as WINNERS regardless of score!

What You Should Know About 2018 Spring Softball:

We need coaches in every age group! Please email the appropriate league coordinator or commissioner for information

6U and 8U will be played in-house at the AJAA diamonds

10U, 12U, 13-18U will be played with neighboring communities at various locations (AJAA, Ben Davis, Plainfield, Danville, and Cascade)

For the 2018 Spring Softball Season, every registered AJAA player will receive an Indians Knot Hole membership included with their registration.  Knot Hole membership cards will be distributed with uniforms.  For more information on Indians Knot Hole membership, please visit www.indyindians.com.

Registration Opens:
January 8, 2018

Registration Closes:
6U-12U - March 2, 2018
13-18U – March 23, 2018

Late Registration:
Late registrations will only be accepted as roster space allows with an additional late fee of $25

– You will need to contact the Softball Commissioner for approval

Evaluations: 
6U Parent Info and 8U-18U Evals - Sunday March 4th at Avon High School (enter through door 31)

6U uniform fitting and parent info: 12:30pm
8U evaluations: 1-2pm
10U evaluations: 2-3pm
12U - 18U evaluations: 3-4pm

13-18U Second Chance Evals - Sunday March 25th – Weather permitting at AJAA Fields - on field 1 from 2-4pm

No makeups – players will be put in a pool and selected at the draft.

Drafts:
6U and 8U – March 12th
10U and 12U – March 13th
13-18U – April 2nd

Practice Begins:
6U and 8U Clinics: Saturday April 7th
10U and 12U: April 2nd
13-18U: April 9th

Games Begin:
6U – Games will start the week of April 30th and played on Saturday and varying weeknights

8U - Games will begin on May 1st and be played on Tuesday and Saturday

10U – Games will start on April 30th and be played on Monday and Wednesday

12U – Games will start on May 1st and be played on Tuesday and Thursday

18U – Regular season starts on May 29th with in house games starting on May 14th

Tournament Information:
6U Under the Lights – Friday June 1st
8U – Starts the week of June 11th
10U – In Avon starting on June 4th
12U – In Danville starting on June 4th
18U – In Plainfield starting on June 18th

*Tournament dates may be delayed up to one week due to weather and makeup games
