“Youth Football Camp” Camp Form Coach Shelbourne of the Avon High School football program will again be hosting the Youth Football Camp on July 6th – July 9th at Avon HS on the football field. Don’t miss out on this great opportunity for your kids to learn from the HS coaches the fundamentals of football and have a great time. See the attached flyer for signup information. 2009 football Informaion: Football equipment pickup dates: Players will not need to attend registration and will be weighed and fitted for their helmet and shoulder pads at the equipment pickup times. AJAA Players pickup equipment at AJAA Upstairs Sunday June 14th from 2:00pm - 6:00pm Wednesday June 24th from 6:00pm - 8:00pm Saturday June 27th from 1:00pm - 4:00pm $10 late equipment pickup fee will apply to those that don’t pickup equipment on one of these dates. Evaluation Dates Evaluations (in full pads) Attendance at evaluations is crucial to our efforts to balance the teasm; please attend if at all possible. Minor Tackle Evaluations (3rd & 4th grade) at Avon HS July 22nd, 6pm - 8:30pm Major Tackle Evaluations (5th & 6th grade) at Avon HS July 21st, 6pm - 8:30pm Junior Tackle Evaluations (2nd grade) at Avon HS July 23rd 6pm - 8pm There are no evaluation for flag football. Flag coaches will contact parents by August 15th. Fees are: Flag Football-Open to Grades K through 2nd(2009-2010 school year)---$80.00 Junior Tackle Football-Open to Grade 2 Only(2009-2010 school year)--$100.00 Tackle Football--$115.00 Minors - Open to Grades 3rd and 4th (2009-2010 school year) Majors - Open to Grades 5th and 6th (2009-2010 school year) Tackle registration fees cover rental helmets (with team stickers) & shoulder pads. All football players will be given one mouthpiece and a team jersey to keep after the season. ***Parents provide cleats and football pants***
